all must have heard that love story at some point or the other! The one of Cinderella! A prince and an ordinary girl! The prince falls in love with that ordinary girl and after passing the love test, they unite. The prince marries that ordinary girl and then both start living happily!
But does this happen in real life? Does that ordinary girl get a prince in real life? Do the prince and that ordinary girl unite so easily?
Or does the prince really support that ordinary girl? Trusts her and fights with the whole world for her?
If someone asks this question to Nandani, she would say that there is nothing like that! No prince fights for any ordinary girl! No prince breaks his restrictions for any ordinary girl and neither does his palace accept her. That ordinary girl always remains an ordinary girl! Yes, but! After that prince comes into the life of that ordinary girl, the girl’s troubles increase a lot. Therefore, the more you stay away from such princes, the better!
Nandini often used to tell all these things to her daughter and she always taught her daughter the same thing
“Don’t love a prince! Never ever!”
Nandini did not say all these things in the air. Whatever she had suffered! Whatever she had seen! Whatever she had endured in her life! She never wanted something like that to happen to her daughter. She never wanted her daughter to ruin her life by falling in love with a prince like her. Often Nandini used to get lost in those old bitter memories while teaching this to her daughter.

Ratan Garh!
Even today this princely state was under the influence of royal families. Her father Hariprasad Sharma was a scribe in the Solanki royal family, one of the four main royal families of Ratan Garh! Hariprasad had married twice in his life. Nandini’s mother had died at the time of her birth and as per people’s advice, Hariprasad married Devyani to take care of the infant.
Yes! It was a different thing that Devyani never took care of that infant. Devyani soon had two children of her own, Yug and Sonakshi!
Nandini had become very intelligent at a young age. She was very skilled in both studies and household chores, so the head of the Solanki family, Raja Samardev Solanki, loved her a lot.
Samardev Solanki himself had two sons. There had been no daughters in his family in the last seven generations. That is why he respected Nandini more than his two sons, Virendra Singh ( veer) and Omkar.
This was the reason why Nandini and Veer fought a lot in childhood, but when did these fights turn into friendship and friendship into love? They themselves did not know!
Veer first fell in love with Nandini and not just love! It was a passionate love. He could not tolerate anyone even looking at Nandini.
Veer’s marriage was fixed with Mrinalini Chitranshi, princess of another royal family, Chitranshi royal family but Veer had declared in front of everyone that he loved Nandini.
Nandini also loved Veer but she did not like to express her love like Veer.
She never crossed her limits. She had to complete her studies before marriage.
Veer also knew this and hence he always respected Nandini and Nandini’s every decision. He never pressurized Nandini to express it openly like him.
Veer was a very good lover but he had one shortcoming that he had no control over his anger. He used to go mad in anger and then it became difficult for him to control himself. Veer was a prince but due to his anger he used to get involved in fights every other day.
In such a situation, Nandini played a very important role in calming him down. Many times, the situation would become such that Veer could not even breathe in anger. That is why Nandini was very scared of his anger because once Veer got angry, only God could help him! That is why Veer always wanted to keep Nandini with him because she was the only medicine for his anger.
No one in the palace was happy with this relationship except Hariprasad and Samardev. Virendra Singh’s mother Raunakshi Singh Solanki did not like Nandini at all. She wanted royal blood and she had long ago accepted Mrinalini as her daughter-in-law. That is why she felt that Nandini had trapped her son for the throne.
She never wanted her eldest son to marry a common girl and bring disgrace to her in the society, but she had no say in her husband and son.
On the other hand, Devyani felt that how could Nandini get everything like this. If their Sonakshi was not destined to become king, then Nandini should not have been destined to be one either.
But Nandini and Veer were not bothered by these things. Nandini and Veer were just waiting for Nandini to complete her studies so that they could get married but....
Destiny had something else in store...
Slowly, rumours started spreading against Nandini. Nandini’s best friend Pranav was made her lover. All kinds of allegations were made against Nandini and such evidence was placed in front of Virendra Singh that Veer could not deny those evidences even if he wanted to.
Despite Nandini repeatedly giving explanations! Despite repeatedly declaring herself innocent, Veer started losing faith in her and that day The news came when Veer also believed all these things completely. Veer threw Nandini out of his life and this is where Raunakshi Singh Solanki got the opportunity. She along with Chitranshi got Virendra Singh and Mrinalini married in a hurry.
Nandini was shattered after this marriage. Virendra Singh had not thought about her even once and now after her marriage, Nandini herself did not want to do any injustice to Mrinalini.
Nandini used to stay awake at nights. Her love could go away from her and the biggest thing was that everyone around her considered her characterless.
There was not a single day when Devyani did not taunt her. In such a situation, the only person who remained her support was her younger brother Yug.
After Virendra Singh’s marriage, Nandini never went to the palace. Virendra Singh also did not see her after his marriage. However, Virendra Singh had promised his wife Mrinalini that he would give her all the rights of being a wife and he had kept that promise. Nandini had never come between them and neither did Virendra Singh let her come.
Exactly one year after Virendra Singh’s marriage, there was a wave of happiness in the entire palace when everyone came to know that Mrinalini was going to become a mother.
Virendra Singh was very happy and Raunakshi Singh Solanki had already started praying that now a daughter must come to this palace.
Nandini also got this news. She was happy for Virendra Singh and Mrinalini but it was also decided that now there was nothing for her here. There were five months left for her studies to finish and after this she was going to leave Ratan Garh forever.
But what would have been better if everything had happened so easily! Now life and God were going to test Nandini even more.
Virendra Singh’s uncle Raviansh Solanki’s only son Ishan was getting married. He was getting married to Vaidehi, the sister-in-law of Raja Raghunandan Rajgarhia of the Rajgarhia royal family, a very good friend of Virendra Singh.
Raja Man Singh was much older than all of them but still he respected Virendra Singh a lot.
It was decided that Virendra Singh’s coronation, Mrinalini’s baby shower and Ishan and Vaidehi’s wedding would all happen together.
Preparations were going on in the palace and Vaidehi insisted that her two best friends should attend it.
One of her friends was Raja Raghunandan’s own sister Maira Rajgarhia and the other was Nandini! After Virendra Singh and Mrinalini’s wedding, Mayra had started keeping distance from Nandini but Vaidehi had not left Nandini’s side, so she convinced Nandini to come to the wedding.
Nandini attended the wedding but no one welcomed her except Mrinalini and Vaidehi.
Mrinalini had a very good nature and she never insulted Nandini.
She was two months pregnant at that time. The glow of pregnancy was clearly visible on her face.
Virendra Singh also saw Nandini after a long time. Nandini had become very weak and the smile on her face had also disappeared but Virendra Singh still turned his face away.
In the middle of the wedding, Nandini received a letter that her job in the capital was approved. She did not tell anyone except Yug. After the wedding, she wanted to leave Ratangarh forever without telling anyone.
But just before the wedding, on the night of the sangeet, something happened that shattered Nandini’s whole life.
That night, after dinner, Nandini felt something strange and she told Vaidehi. Vaidehi left her in the room and went out to get medicine.
After that, Nandini does not remember anything about what happened that night.
At around 2 o’clock in the night, when Mrinalini opened the door of her room looking for her husband, she got the biggest shock of her life.
In front, Virendra Singh and Nandini were sleeping in each other’s arms and the way they were, anyone could tell what happened between them that night.
Mrinalini’s sister-in-law also saw this scene and created a ruckus in the entire palace.
Many kinds of allegations were made against Nandini early in the morning. Nandini was beaten badly by Devyani in front of everyone. Hariprasad also stood quietly.
Virendra Singh did not remember anything except that he was given a juice to drink and what happened after that! He did not know anything!
Rounakshi Solanki and Mrinalini’s sister-in-law Sambhavi said that Nandini could not get such a Virendra Singh so she adopted this cheap and low method.
When Mrinalini’s brother Raghavraj Chitranshi slapped Nandini while she was giving explanation and Nandini’s head hit the table, Virendra Singh’s fists clenched for a moment but then opened. All this was going on when the news came from the Rajgarhia family that Vaidehi had been murdered.
Everyone was shocked. The wedding atmosphere turned into mourning of death.
Vaidehi’s body was lying in a very messy state in the back part of the palace. Someone had stabbed her. But everyone got a big shock when Yug’s chain was found there.
After this, Yug’s room was searched where a letter was found which Yug had written for his elder sister Nandani. It was written in it that he and Nandani together took their revenge from the royal family.
The royal family will now also face the same infamy that his sister had to face! Rather, they will face more than that.
The entire Ratan Garh went into shock. Devyani and Hariprasad broke all relations with Nandani and blamed everything on Nandani.
As if all this was not enough, he had to face the death of his sister. On hearing the news, Vaidehi’s elder sister and Raja Raghunandan’s wife Padmavati Devi Rajgarhia’s blood pressure shot up and she had a heart attack. She died while being taken to the hospital and left behind two sons, the younger of whom was just one year old.
Raja Raghunandan Rajgarhia had gone mad. He wanted to kill Nandini with his own hands but somehow Samardev Solanki managed to control him.
Solanki family, Chitranshi and Rajgarhia family! All three sent their men to search for Yug. Alive or dead! They wanted Yug at any cost. Nandini was imprisoned in the palace itself. After the beating, she was kept hungry and thirsty for two days. She was lying there in that dark room waiting for her death.
At that time, she was supported by a person whom she had never even thought of! Her younger step-sister Sonakshi...
Sonakshi always used to fight with him. Till then she used to give her wrong answers but that night she came to take Nandini out from there. She brought Nandini and all her belongings, all documents and some money.
She untied the ropes from Nandini’s hands and feet and said, “Big King! Virendra Singh and no one else is in the palace right now. Everyone has been taken to search for Yug Bhai Saa about whom there is a rumour that he has joined the bandits. That is why all the women are talking about taking advantage of the situation and poisoning you. If you don’t want to die then let’s go from here!”
Nandini looked at her and then said in a sick voice, “Why are you doing this? Don’t put yourself in danger for me Sonakshi!”
Sonakshi looked at her and then said “I have full faith in my elder brother and sister that they cannot do such a mean act! I am not putting myself in danger! Our parents do not have sense but now there is nothing left for us in this Ratan Garh so I am saving you and myself. Now get up! Before someone comes here!”
Nandani knew about the relationship between Sonakshi and Veer’s younger brother Omkar. She said very lightly “And Omkar?”
Sonakshi said in a cold voice “You also loved a prince right! Then what happened to you? So do you want the same thing to happen to me too? Anyway, Omkar is also convinced that his brother is a murderer and sister is a prostitute.”
Nandani became silent. Sonakshi also freed him without saying anything and then taking advantage of visiting palaces for so many years, took Nandani out of the palace safely.
But when was the curse of the palace going to leave them!
As soon as the two girls ran away, all three royal families sent their men after them. Those men also started chasing the fleeing sisters.
The two sisters had come a long way from Ratan Garh when those men found them in a train.
In the train itself, those men first separated Sonakshi from Nandani and one man moving towards Nandani said, “What did you think? Will Crown Prince Veerendra Singh let you go so easily? You have hurt his family, his wife! His orders are to bring you back to Ratan Garh but as a corpse!”
Nandani’s eyes widened. She knew about Veerendra Singh’s anger but she did not know that Veer’s anger could be so terrible and cruel!
That man had just taken out his dagger and attacked Nandani when six-seven men above thirty came from behind and attacked those royal guards. Those six-seven men beat up the royal guards and saved Nandini and Sonakshi from them.
Then both the sisters came to know that they were old goons and used to be part of a gang. They were just coming back from jail after serving their sentence and were going straight to Mumbai.
The leader among them was called Dhruv Dada by everyone. His name was Dhrubha Anna but for everyone he was Dhruv Dada. The other six were his companions.
Those seven sat down and asked about Nandini and Sonakshi’s problem. Nandini did not tell them everything but Sonakshi told them everything superficially.
Dhruv Dada only said, “If you both want, you can come with us. We have a mohalla here where you will get security and a family too! The rest is up to you. If you want, wherever you want to go, we will drop you there safely!” Sonakshi and Nandini looked at each other. It was very difficult to trust strangers after being betrayed by one’s own people but still......
Both the girls reached Mumbai with Dhruv Dada.
In Mumbai, Dada and his companions lived in a chawl where there were other women too, many of whom had been abandoned by their husbands! Many were widows and many were victims of rape! Dada and this entire chawl together ran a garage, a tiffin service and a dhaba. In total, about twenty-five people lived in that chawl.
Nandini became their cashier and with the help of Dhruv Dada, Sonakshi’s further studies were started.
Nandini wanted to forget everything. Ratan Garh!
The things that happened to her and most importantly...Veer. Virendra Singh!
But only after two months, she came to know that she had brought Virendra Singh’s memento with her. The result of that night was growing in her womb.
At first, Nandini thought of aborting the child but then she lost her courage. What is the child’s fault? What would he know about the conspiracies of the royal families!
The entire chawl and Sonakshi respected her decision and the people of the entire neighbourhood took full care of Nandini during her pregnancy.
Dada had made her his sister and now Nandini’s words were the last word in that locality.
No important decision was taken without her.
Nandini started having labour pains in the eighth month itself and her baby girl was born in the eighth month itself.
When Nandini heard the baby crying, she forgot all the pain that Virendra Singh had given her. She decided to raise her baby herself. The baby started growing up in the same locality. Nandini never wanted her daughter’s condition to be like hers, so she always told her daughter to stay away from these rich families. She always taught her daughter “Don’t love a prince! Never ever!” Nandini had taken a tough decision that she would never return to Ratan Garh and would never send her daughter there, but still somewhere in her heart, an unfulfilled desire was buried, so she gave her daughter the same name that she and Virendra Singh had once thought of for their child,
Sharva!!!!!.
Twenty years later, today in Ratan Garh, Sharva was looking at the big white palace in front of her, wearing a black hoodie and black jeans with white shoes, a black cap on her head and a big bag in her hands. “Suryamahal” was written in big letters on top of that palace. There was a big palace outside that palace and that palace was still standing with all its splendor.
All the old servants of the palace were surprised to see Sharva’s face there. Sharva took out a letter from his pocket and sent it to Data Hukum i.e. Samardev through a guard.
Exactly five minutes later, the guard immediately came and opened that big gate and said to Sharva, “You have been called inside by the big king sahab!”
Sharva bowed her head and went forward with her left hand in the pocket of her jeans. Her eyes were completely blank.
Whoever saw Sharva, kept looking at her in surprise.
Sharva hesitated a little after reaching the main door and then pushed the door and went straight inside.
There was probably some celebration going on inside. All the three royal families, i.e. Solanki royal family, Rajgarhia royal family and Chitranshi royal family were present there.
All their eyes turned towards Sharva and everyone was stunned. The glass of juice held in Raunakshi Solanki’s hands fell down and there was a loud sound.
Sharva took off his cap and looked at everyone with blank eyes. Mrinalini put her hand on her mouth and Data Hukum smiled.
Meanwhile, Raja Virendra Singh came down from the stairs on the other side. When Sharva turned towards him, his eyes also widened and on seeing him, Sharva understood why everyone was so surprised to see him.
Virendra Singh was looking at Sharva standing in front of him as if his own reflection, who was once twenty years old, was standing in front of him. Sharva looked exactly like him.
Sharva’s eyes also narrowed on seeing Veer. So this is her father! King Veerendra Singh !!!!!!!
What happened that Sharva came to Ratangarh after twenty years? Why did Nandini let her come there?
